I went back to Hong Kong recently for my summer shopping fix again ^^ This time I tried their local style fast food cafe for a quick breakfast @ MX (“Maxim” for short). This cafe works in the safe manner like Cafe De Coral which I mentioned in an earlier post on HK style fast food last year.
We had a little trouble finding seats in the cafe near to The Charteredhouse Hotel as it was a crowded Sat morning. Nonetheless I finally managed to find 2 counter seats while my fren queued to order our food.
As you can see, I decided to have a try at their typical HK style breakfast. My set was actually the very 1st on the menu shown above. It’s actually q value for $, considering tat I get a bowl of oatmeal, 2 slices of slightly toasted bread wif ham & a sunny-side-up, and a cup of hot lemon tea, all for HK$18 only (approx S$3.30). The food was pretty tasty 🙂
So if you are looking for a no-frills typical HK style breakfast, you can try MX when you are in HK. Here’s its official website for your reference: http://www.maxims.com.hk/tc/index.asp (FYI Maxim Group has fast food, confectionery, high-end restaurants etc under its name)
