Crowne Plaza Edison

We stayed at Crowne Plaza Edison at New Jersey for our first 2 nights in the US. Guess the main reason why we stayed in NJ instead of New York City was because NYC is a very expensive city where a simple 3-star hotel can easily costs over S$300/night, although our tour leader kept emphasising that it was because NYC always has traffic jams and so they want to “minimise our traffic woes”. Haha

The hotel only has 5 levels of guest rooms with 2 elevators serving all guests. Unfortunately there was only 1 functioning elevator for our first night and second day morning. So although our room was only located on the second floor, we always had to wait for a long time to get to our room or leave the hotel. -_-“

Here’s our review of this hotel:
1. The room is very spacious and we had 2 queen beds with 4 pillows and 1 bolster each. The toilet cum shower was also spacious and they provided 4 bath towels!
2. The free wifi signal in the room was strong and we did not experience much difficulty in connecting.
3. The breakfast selection really sucks (though I hate to use that word). Both mornings we had exactly the same food items! 😦

Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure:

There is also no nearby amenities like convenience store or eateries, so once we got in the hotel, it was just time to idle around haha. I have also taken a picture of the hotel’s entrance in the night for you below. 🙂
