Hampton Inn Dulles Airport South Hotel

We stayed at Hampton Inn Dulles Airport South Hotel on our third night in the States, located about 12 minutes away from Washington Dulles Airport. It is under the Hilton group of hotels.

Compared to Crowne Plaza Edison at New Jersey, Hampton Inn’s hotel rooms are more compact in size, like a standard 3-star hotel. Take a look at the pictures below:

The beds are much taller than what we have in Singapore, even Crowne Plaza Edison’s beds aren’t that tall too. Apparently the tall beds caused 1 of our tour members to fall off from her bed! :O Luckily no big damage done, and the bed is quite comfortable to sleep in. In addition, the wash basin is separated from the washroom, which may be good when you just need to wash something while your roommate is having a shower, isn’t it? 😉

The complimentary continental breakfast served at this hotel was much better than that at Crowne Plaza Edison. More variety and better quality food! We could make our own hot waffles during breakfast too!

We definitely had a satisfying breakfast here compared to the first 2 nights, to compensate for a smaller room I guess? In general, I would say if you are looking for a reasonably-priced hotel near the Dulles Airport, you may consider this as they also offer park-&-fly package. 🙂
